Younghun Kim is a South Korean artist working and living in Milano. His work aims to reveal the making procedure of myth. De-contexted images of different ages and cultures are used to create his so-called new sacred painting. Behind harmoniously coordinated surfaces, drifting symbolic fragments collide between each other leaving only a semantic dump in his paintings, which the artist interprets as the pattern of society.
