Artists, curators, galleries and art spaces are invited to apply for organizing an exhibition at Kintai Arts Gallery in 2025. Invitations are accepted for both new exhibition concepts and exhibitions that have already taken place in Lithuania. Due to logistic and financial limits, only applications for exhibitions showed in Lithuania are accepted.
Kintai Arts Gallery aims to present and disseminate contemporary art in the region of Pamarys and therefor to provide opportunities for the local community and visitors to discover professional artistic forms and to develop habits of cultural participation. Hosting guest exhibitions that have been already showed in other art spaces in Lithuania allows to broaden the public as well as to reuse/recycle the existing scenography, thus ensuring more sustainable exhibition practices.
The guest exhibitions will take place during the following periods: 01.04.2025 - 15.07.2025 and 01.10.2025 - 30.11.2025. The estimated duration of 1 exhibition is approximately 1-1.5 months.
Applications are accepted until the 2nd of December 2024.
Please fill in the attached form and submit it with the following annexes:
- Exhibition concept (1 page),
- Curator's CV (if any) and artist's CV,
- a portfolio of the artist or group's work,
- visual material for the forthcoming exhibition (photographs, sketches, visualisation of the forthcoming exhibition/documentation of the current exhibition).
Submit the application and its annexes in 1 pdf file of up to 10 MB. Applications without the required annexes will not be considered.
Kintai Arts Gallery commits to:
- to provide the exhibition fee of 700 EUR to the artist or group of artists.
- to contribute to the transportation costs of the artworks.
- to provide accommodation for the duration of the exhibition.
