We are delighted to announce an open call for exhibitions in Kintai Arts residency. Proposals for both new exhibitions and existing exhibitions are accepted. Due to financial limitations, priority will be given to exhibitions previously held in Lithuania; however, applications from abroad that take these limitations into account are also welcome.
The application form is intended for exhibition proposals in the residency’s gallery spaces; however, the spaces for exhibiting within the residency may be broader. Artworks can also be exhibited in the residency’s second-floor spaces, and in the public space outside the residency.
This programme aims to introduce regional audiences to the diversity of contemporary art practices, discover both emerging and established artists, and foster habits of cultural participation. Hosting exhibitions at the Kintai Arts Residency helps expand and decentralise audiences, present both existing and newly developed artworks, and reuse existing scenography, thereby contributing to more sustainable exhibition practices.
The exhibitions will take place during the following periods: 2027 04 01 – 2027 05 15, 2027 06 18 – 2027 07 30, bei 2027 10 01 - 2027 11 15. The estimated duration of one exhibition is approximately 1 - 1.5 months. Three exhibitions will be hosted in total. The exact duration and opening date will be agreed individually.
