INDIVIDUAL RESIDENCIES IN KINTAI

The Kintai Arts Residency invites artists and professionals working in culture and academia fields to apply for an individual residency programme. The duration of the residency can vary from one week to 1 month. This programme is dedicated to those seeking a quiet retreat in nature, a peaceful place to focus on various types of cultural and academia projects. The Residency provides accommodation and workspace for a wide range of activities, including both research-based practices and multidisciplinary artistic practices (ceramics, painting, sculpture, sound art, performance, choreography, etc.).

Residents are invited to live within the community and organize various events that promote their work and nourishes the exchange of ideas with their peers.

Individual residents and collectives are welcome during January - February, April - June and September - October, 2026. Duration of a residency can vary from 1 week to 1 month. Applications must be submitted not later than one month before the chosen start date of the residency.

The residency programme is fee-based. For those seeking funding, Kintai Arts provides letters of collaboration and official acceptance letters.
