Her artistic practice encompasses painting, printmaking and site-specific installations, combining DIY aesthetics with traditional painting techniques. Recently, the artist has been exploring haptic visuality and the connections between the concept of fl\u00e2neuse and cultural heritage. Visuality, which is full of marks, scratches, mist \u2013 something which obscures the image \u2013 is forcing us to focus our attention and mobilise all our senses to compensate for the visual interference.<\/p>\n<p>In Kornilova&#8217;s works, the marks suggest touch, and the outlines of objects merge, metamorphosing into new meanings, other images and associations.
