His recent exhibition, BSoD_24, serves as a reaction to prevailing global events. His art practice is based on a challenging understanding of what defines painting, picture, and image and how it applies to the interdisciplinary needs of the contemporary art scene.<\/p>\n<p>Before arriving in Kintai, I had been exploring the theme of &#8222;territory&#8221;. My focus has been on the paper or canvas format, envisioning it as a playground for various artistic expressions that assert and inhabit the space within the picture. I am investigating diverse ways to imbue meaning into the positioning and claiming of space. Upon arriving in Kintai, I encountered swamps and marshes, which, both symbolically and literally, are impassable. It makes this territory reflect.
