Kintai Arts has been selected by EEA Grants to fund the project \u201eCultural Barn\u201c. The EEA and Norway Grants are funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The Grants have two goals \u2013 to contribute to a more equal Europe, both socially and economically \u2013 and to strengthen the relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and the 15 Beneficiary States in Europe.<\/p>\n
Cultural Barn project was conceived by Kintai Arts and 7 partners. It intends to reconstruct a barn, belonging to the Kintai Evangelical-Lutheran Community and to build a birdwatching structure on the shore of Kintai lagoon. These structures will inhabit various artistic and cultural initiatives. The reconstructed barn will host entrepreneurship trainings, educational programmes for traditional boatbuilding, weathervane and ceramics workshops, cookery courses as well as foster local crafts and art residencies.<\/p>\n
The opening conference for \u201cCultural Barn\u201d project will take place on Friday, the 19th of November at Kintai Multifunctional Center (Kur\u0161i\u0173 st. 23, Kintai). During the event, the public is invited to join the entrepreneurship trainings in Kintai Arts residency.<\/p>\n
