As a result, during the residency, artists will be encouraged to interpret the theme of Landscape Formation broadly, exploring topics ranging from ecological challenges\u2014leading to shifts in regional climate conditions and landscape transformations\u2014to geopolitical crises resulting in mass migrations and environmental destruction. Additionally, personal challenges in the contemporary world, such as the pursuit of identity in rapidly changing environment, feelings of insecurity, and the search for existential meaning, will also be explored.<\/p>\n<p>The residency will also feature discussions on the classical landscape genre and its relevance in today\u2019s contemporary visual art scene. Artists will be invited to present their oeuvre during open studio evenings and engage in discussions with fellow participants, the residency curator, and art critics. Additionally, the program will include symposium presentations by selected speakers\u2014artists, art critics, and\/or philosophers from Lithuania and Poland.<\/p>\n<p>\/\/<\/p>\n<p><b>Residency activities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Studios, Discussions, and Site Visits: artists will participate in open studio sessions, discussions, and visits to selected plein-air locations.
